Description
The little LÖWE 5 has a narrow, short blade. It cuts branches and twigs up to a diameter of 16 mm with no problem. With its light weight, it is the pruner that you can always carry with you for additional cutting work. It fits comfortably into the hand, and is particularly recommended for smaller hands.
The LÖWE 5 is also available in a variant with a pointed blade for accessing branches in very tight locations.
FOR SMALLER HANDS – Lowe No. 5 (5104) Small Anvil
Lowe are the World market leader in anvil pruning tools.
As opposed to bypass pruners, where the blade and anvil blade slide past one another, in the case of anvil pruners the blade comes up against a base plate (the anvil), the principle developed by Walther Schröder in 1923 has since been proven millions of times over. This principle has the following advantages:
- Better transmission of force
- These pruners are also ideally suited to robust use on harder woods
- No cutting impact and less force exercised during cutting => Protection of the hand and joints
- Low-cost maintenance
